Well, I guess I've put off doing some regular updates for too long. The reason I've been
putting it off is that I've had no particular "late breaking news" of late. And of
course with the Holiday Season, people tend to run out of time to keep up with things.
It's beginning to look here like my news is my excuses for not having news! :) That
could even be the facts! :)
I've still been job hunting but don't seem to be getting anywhere with it. Central New
York was declared the second worst place in the US for losing population and businesses
over the last few years. That could have something to do with it. I've been considering
taking a plunge into foolishness and moving to Florida where there are plenty of jobs.
Not to mention the much nicer weather! I don't know. Seems I've been dragging my feet
when it comes to making a real decision about what I should do. I keep telling myself
that I can do it, but after all I've been through, I've lost far too much confidence in
myself and my abilities ~ thus the feet dragging thing! :)
I've decided to change the Favorite Links. Every one that I've featured so far has been
a real favorite of mine, but I'm at a cross roads where I've honestly run out of sites
that I favor. Not to imply that there aren't other very good sites out there, but they
aren't my really favorites! :) I may just end up changing the whole thing at some point
from "My Favorites" to "Really Good Sites". At this time, though, I'm still undecided
on what I'll do.
I have a "Family Photo Album" on the Internet now. My son, Shawn, got a scanner for
Christmas so I did what comes naturally ~ got a ton of photos scanned. If anyone is
interested in seeing it, the address is
http://web.cnyconnect.net/suerose/photo/noframes.html. Lots of older photos from the
50's and 60's. Far too many photos of me, but then I guess I went just a tad nuts
getting the older ones done up first. :)
Well, I guess that's it for now. Here's hoping the New Year is bringing happiness to
to everyone. I know that's a bit of a reach, but I can still hope!
