So, you didn't get the full break from me that you were promised! Oh well! :) You know I couldn't stay quiet that long anyway so you shouldn't be surprised! :)

Just wanted to add a little bit of the ol' Year-End Wisdom that is expected at year's end! :) Not that it is particularly wise, mind you, but.... :)

How shall we start this new year - 1998? Y'know, when I was in my teens, I figured by now I'd either be a true geezer or very powerful and rich! Of course, I'm neither of those! :) Kind of interesting to look back in the "time-capsule" of your mind and realize how wrong you can be when you're young! Anyhoo! :) 1998 is just a sneeze away, and I've finally decided on my New Year's Revolution! Yep! I never have resolutions! They tend to be a bit feeble and who keeps them for very long anyhow? :)

I have decided that it's time to take this site and this disease national! I'm hoping that the timing is right and I am able to help the people who can help us to grasp the seriousness of our situation. Now granted, my mind isn't as sharp and clear as it use to be - but I think I've managed to pull together enough of my intestinal fortitude to at least put the right words together so that they will be interested enough to take a peek and then take the time to make the difference for all of us. That would be very nice and the best Christmas gift I've ever received - AND given, eh? :)

So for all of you who have considered submitting a story to be used for this endeavor and haven't managed to get it done, now would be a good time. Once I get this update done, I will be sending "Our Story" to anyone and everyone I can find who might just be able to do it for us! I think that's a pretty good goal! :)

So, for now, tis me, signing off! Hopefully I will be updating these pages with some wonderful news in the next few weeks! If not, then, well, twon't be new news to me! Y'all know how things go in this life! In the meantime, you are ALWAYS welcome to send suggestions on how to get this going if my ideas don't woik! :) In the meantime....

This past Monday was a bag of mixed crapper doo! I received a new award for this site and my Sister Jean was admitted to the hospital because of chest pains! WoW! Talk about not having a boring day! She is doing just fine now. They found it wasn't anything serious, but let me tell you about going through a spaz! She's home and I am sister-sitting today! She's feeling better and one nice lady! :)

Aside from having a "Monday", things are about the same with me. Still not feeling shoopa, but not feeling too bad either. Am feeling mighty good that I am sitting here listening to Jean babbling on about stuff! More than great that she's OK! :) "Now, hush up, Jean, so I can think of some wonnerful things to write about here!" :) Nah! Keep on babblin'! :)

Getting the Critical mass Award is kind of nice. Always nice to get an accolade now and again. :) Jean gave me one too. It's called the "Jeanie Award" :) I thought it might be interesting to share, so I put that one on my awards page too. :) So, for now, it is back to sister-sitting. She needs someone here to make sure that she doesn't do all the things she's trying to do! 'Siddown, Jean! That's what I'm here for!' Til next time.. Sue :)

This week I'm still just keepin' on keepin' on. Physically, not feeling too bad. Either that, or just getting use to not feeling too good. Well, not really. That would be a bit too pathetic. All in all, I suppose that I am feeling better than I was even just a couple months ago. Emotionally, feeling kind of pthth ~. Not bad, but not good either. Still wanting to have my mid-life crisis spaz, but not feeling up to it quite yet. And there is this not getting hired for any job. That's a hard one to accept. Me thinks there is a bit of discrimination going on, but sure is a hard one to prove. It sure isn't because I don't have plenty of qualifications. If you've seen my resume, you know it's true. Oh well, will just have to ride it out and hope for the best.

I want some blueberry pie! You know the kind made with fresh picked wild blue berries and about 3 or 4 inches thick! Made with lots of berries and just a touch of sweetness! Dang! That does sound good! Tastes best when you're nestled by the fireplace and wearing a big fluffy white robe and bunny slippers. And cozied into a big overstuffed chair with your feet snuggled in a fuzzy blanket and resting on fat ottoman. hmmm... Nevermind the pie! Gimme that chair! :) Might as well gimme a fireplace too cause I don't have one! :)

Some lucky person was my 10,000th visitor sometime Tuesday! Hip Hip Hooray! What a difference a day makes. When I started the site a few months back, I never imagined it would end up getting about 100 hits a day! Heck, I was thrilled when I first went in to see the official site and turned the counter to number 1! :) Just wanted to say thanks to all for letting me know that "I done good!" :)
