This site was made in hopes of helping to create public awareness about Graves' Disease
and the importance of early detection and correct diagnosis. Graves' Disease affects
not only those who are ill with the disease but also those who are around them.
I'm hoping I might provide some useful insight by putting a piece or two of my
story in these pages. I would prefer my experience with Graves' Disease to be worst
case and singular. But, if not, I'm hoping if you recognize yourself or someone you
know within these pages, that you seek sound medical advice.
So, sit back, relax, make a cup of tea
or whatever you prefer to sip, and feel free to take your time. Be sure to visit the
sites on the links pages. There is some very good information to be found about
Graves' Disease and Thyroid Disease from professional organizations and from people
who are also living with these diseases. For anyone who is interested in finding out
more about "the human factor" in Graves' Disease, be sure to visit the personal
pages. You'll find them very "eye" opening.
