Well hello again. I've been so busy having a life that I completely neglegted this site ... for two years!!! But I will have to say this.... At least I neglected it because I'm having a life, not because I'm dead! :)

See, I kept telling you all those years to look to the future... I'll be darned! There is one! I have always told you that I don't want to give out medical advise, but I'm telling you ladies and gents right now.. If you aren't doing well on Synthroid, Your Artificial Friend, please don't take no for an answer when you tell your Doctor you need to try Armour Thyroid. I've gotten my blood pressure under control in the last two years, but I'm going to have to see my Doctor and discuss the high pulse. It is definitely from too much T-3, but I say again, I'll die early before they try to make me a zombie again. I know I can work with this Doctor. All he's done is try to do what's best for me, even if he doesn't agree, he knows how I feel and he listens!!! Not too bad to look at either. :)

See? What can I tell you? I did have to take my own picture so it isn't the most flattering, but Damn! I'm there!!!! Long road, my friends. But I'll tell you it was worth every long, painful, icky step to get there! Well, that is considering I had no other options. I wouldn't recommend doing that as a hobby or anything! :)

I see that even though I haven't been here much, you guys have. Thank you so much for continuing to say thank you. And I know how hard sometimes it is even to do that. Been there. I'm so glad that I'm not there too much anymore. Oh yeah I still have "those days" but now they're from Meopause! Cripes! :) Hell, after all that other, Menopause is a snap! Not easy, but I can deal with it as long as I can find a good place to hide when I'm acting like a nut! :)

So, let me tell you what's been going on. I've been working Contract for the Florida Department of Transportation for two years. I started out as a scan clerk. It was supposed to be a year's assignment but I got it done in three months. Well, I'm from Ner Yerk! We don't do slow :) I guess they liked me enough, they kept me on and changed my job to, well, just about anything.. scanning and anything else :) For over a year, I traveled throughout Florida with my Side Kick, Sherri, and we trained over 3,000 people from the panhandle to Miami, hands on mind you, on a computer program for the DOT. I'm kind of known everywhere here now, at least with the people who keep the roads safe. That part of the job ended in March, so they kept me on to keep doing anything. My official title is Administrative Assistant, but my name plaque says Miss Cellaneous. They're pretty cool people.

I've made so many great friends here! The minute I get down, they're there to help me pick myself up. They don't really have to do anything but let me know they are there and it brings me up. Took me out to lunch on my birthday this week. Got me a card and insulted me about 15 times :) Now that's friendship!

I'll probably be doing updates about as frequently as I have, but, you see, I have a life, and it isn't as interesting to talk happy stuff all the time as it is to have a gripe session, now is it? Tell you what? Maybe the next time I have a hormonal Menopausal episode I'll write stuff, but I bet you won't want to read it!

Look to the Future! If you fight hard enough you can have one too! Sue -{-{@
